The Ph.D. course, held from November 10 - 13, 2009, willl be focused on protein and DNA sequences comparison and alignment, sequence database search, protein structure prediction and analysis, complexity and nonlinear dynamics in biological systems, metabolic pathways and metabolic control, computational tools for systems biology.

The Ph.D. course lectures and excercises will be given by Dr. Vladimir Likic (University of Melbourne, Australia).

 
Registration is required to attend the course. Please, register as soon as possible - the number of participants for Ph.D. course excercises is limited by the size of the computer room (i.e. 36 seats). Currently enrolled Ph.D. students will be given priority, but undergraduate students and post-docs may apply to attend as well. Admission to the course is based on the selection made by the organizing commitee.
 
Registration deadline is November 9, 2009.
 
No registration fee is required to attend the course.
 
 
 
Students of Masaryk University can get credits for this course if they register IC035 course in IS MU.
