15th to 26th July, 2024
The National Centre for Biomolecular Research, in collaboration with CEITEC and the Centre for International Cooperation, organized the second year of the intensive two-week summer school from 15th to 26th July 2024. The school program focused on edge computer simulation techniques at various scales, from atomic to coarse-grained simulations, covering topics from supramolecular chemistry to structural biology. The course was attended by 15 students, mainly from the bachelor and master levels.
The Faculty of Science of Masaryk University has received accreditation for a new PhD programme in Experimental Plant Biology. This programme, which will be available for study from the coming academic year, responds to the major challenges of our time, such as climate change and food security.
The event programme will offer a behind-the-scenes look at research at NCBR - visitors can look forward to guided tours of the laboratories, demonstrations of scientific and student projects, competition and popularization activities and informal discussions with participating students and teachers.
