The 20th anniversary edition of Researchers' Night took place across the country on Friday, September 26, and people could also head to Masaryk University to learn about science.
Ladislav Bartoš, Milan Chytrý, Richard Štefl, and Robert Vácha received awards from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. They accepted their awards on Tuesday, November 4, at the Liechtenstein Palace in Prague.
The iGEM Brno team achieved extraordinary success at the International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition. In the Overgraduate category, it took home the grand prize, along with awards for best agricultural project, best synthetic plant biology, best presentation video, and the prestigious gold medal.
