The detailed programme will be available during the week preceding the PhD Retreat.
The Retreat will begin on Monday, 2 February 2026, at 12:00 and will conclude on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at 15:00.
Minor adjustments to the schedule may be made if necessary.

The registration Excel sheet will be shared by e-mail with all participants in December 2025.

Basic accommodation will be available on-site at the University Centre Telč. 

A reservation list for shared rooms will be distributed by e-mail to all participants in December 2025.

If you prefer a single room, you can book it through the organizers in December 2025 and pay directly on site. The price for a single-occupancy standard room is approximately CZK 1,000 per night (rates for 2025).

For participants seeking higher-standard accommodation, several hotels and guesthouses are located nearby, such as Hotel Antoň, Hotel U Hraběnky, Hotel U Černého orla, and Pension Panský dvůr Telč.

As the kitchen facilities at the University Centre are limited, it is recommended that you bring your own cup for coffee or tea.

Please note that the number of plates available on site will also be limited.

A Krýgl (beer mug) for beer from the keg is also highly recommended...

The University Centre Telč is part of Masaryk University and offers wireless internet access via the Eduroam network.

All common areas are wheelchair accessible.

Available facilities reserved for ExPBio PhD Retreat include the Lecture Hall P2 (capacity 84 seats) and the Dining Hall.
